RS Integrated Supply Honoured with Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award

WARRINGTON, UK / RADNOR, PA 21 July 2025 – RS Integrated Supply, part of RS Group plc (LSE: RS1), is proud to announce it has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award under the UK Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. This honour marks the highest level of recognition for employers who demonstrate exceptional support to the Armed Forces community.

RSIS signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2023, affirming its commitment to service members, veterans, and their families. In 2024, the company received the Silver Award, and this year’s Gold Award reflects continued progress and dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.

“We are deeply honoured to receive the Gold Award recognition,” said Jerry Abraham, President of RS Integrated Supply. “It is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those who serve and have served. We believe in the value of their experience and are proud to support their transition into civilian careers.”

The award celebrates RS Integrated Supply’s efforts to employ veterans and reservists, advocate for the Armed Forces community, and inspire other organisations to follow suit. The company’s initiatives include tailored recruitment practices, flexible working arrangements, and ongoing support for military families.

Key contributors to this achievement include Gary Wilson, Account Manager, and Ian Pritchard, Operations Manager, whose leadership and advocacy have been instrumental in embedding Armed Forces support into the company’s culture.

The official award ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 22 September, at Blackburn Cathedral, where recipients will be honoured by the Lord-Lieutenants of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man.

More than 10,000 companies have pledged commitment to the covenant, which involves upholding two key principles:

  • No member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen.
  • In some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate, especially for the injured or bereaved.
  • RSIS remains committed to building on this momentum and ensuring its UK operations continue to be a place where everyone, regardless of background, can thrive.
