RS Integrated Supply Joins
Minority Supplier Development UK [MSDUK]
WARRINGTON, UK / RADNOR, PA 23 JANUARY 2024 – RS Integrated Supply, a global MRO supply chain management services company, announced it has joined Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK) as a corporate member as part of its commitment to growing a diverse supplier base.
Founded in 2006, MSDUK is the UK’s leading supplier diversity advocacy organization working for inclusion of non-white ethnic minorities in corporate supply chains. By joining their network, RS Integrated Supply is able to connect with more than 500 procurement professionals, improving its supplier diversity.
According to MSDUK, nearly 16% of all businesses in the UK are non-white, ethnic minority owned. That equates to roughly one in six, or nearly one million businesses. Yet less than 1% of corporate and public sector spend in the UK goes to minority businesses.
“At RS Integrated Supply we are committed to supporting diverse suppliers. MSDUK is doing great work to empower ethnic minority-owned businesses to overcome barriers they face and to give them the networks, training, and skills they need to be successful,” said Costi Campi, Senior Vice President, Global Procurement for RS Integrated Supply. “This new partnership will help us to build positive relationships with these businesses and will support the communities in which we operate.”
