Project Manager, Digital Transformation (12M FTC)
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and orchestrating the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams.
This is a hybrid role, office location – Birchwood, Warrington
Occasional travel will be required to support implementation and training to client sites across UK
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings to align the team with project goals and expectations.
- To effectively deliver project outcomes to agreed scope, time, cost and quality targets.
- To provide regular, timely and high quality Project status reports.
- Lead and manage key workstream leads and project contributors.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting effective communication and
- teamwork.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the team meets project milestones.
- Advise & implement on project management frameworks, ways of working.
- Maintain a holistic view of the entire project, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Monitor and control project execution against the project plan, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with key workstream leads to ensure seamless integration of workstreams.
- Facilitate regular meetings to coordinate activities, share updates, and address interdependencies.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-functional problem-solving.
Candidate requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in successfully managing end-to-end projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable
